HAS HE NOT SENT YOU?
We thank God for this second pod in this series of New Mandates, the topic of this series is in a question form… Has He Not Sent You?
This is a rhetorical question that everyone need to think deeper about because many of the times, we do not know what we are, who we are, in Christ Jesus, we do not know our position and the offices we are called to have jurisdiction of
Many of the times, we do not know that we are the solution to the concerns that everyone including us are running away from…some of us have been identified as the problem solver in the heavenly realms but yet, we are still chickening out
We do not know that the word of our mouth is the comfort others need but instead we join others to become comforted as well
We do not know that people ought to be the ones deriving strength from us but rather wejoined others to derive strength, we joined others to live in despair, to run from the enemies
We are frightened of what the enemies will do to us when God has commanded victory for us, when God has given us authority in His Word, Jesus, to make use of anytime we are in trouble and do not know what else to do
Many today, are suffering from the hands of the enemies because of fear that has overpowered them, forgotten that God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love, power and soundmind and until we know who we are in Christ Jesus, it will be hard for us to stand our ground in the day of adversities
The bible says in Pro 24:10, if you fail on the day of adversities, it means your strength is not enough…
So the question now is, why do people fear to take over their new position in Christ Jesus even tho they have given their lives to Christ and called by the new name of a believer? Why don’t we take over the authority God has given unto us but still have benefit of doubt when God said we are overcomers in Christ Jesus
The book of Romans 8:37 says, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us…this belief we have in Christ Jesus should be our push, our ego, our motto in all that confronts us so that we may embark successfully and finish successfully that which the Lord has bestowed on us.
The case study of Gideon from the book of Judges 6 and from verse 11 will give us further knowledge and understanding on what it means to stop chickening out when we’ve already been given a mandate
Has He not sent you to bring more souls to Him? Has He not sent you to not let the wicked live? Has He not sent you to be the deliverer of your family? Has He not sent you to set the captive free? Has He not sent you to become the watchman over the cities? Has He not sent you to be the comforter to those who are poor? Has He not sent you to be a blessing to the less privileged? Has He not sent you to bring into recovery those who have been stung by iniquities
There is something that we carry, something of high importance, a mandate of freedom, a mandate of victory that could be derived when we raise up the banner of Christ to the world. But it is unfortunate that we do not know who we are, we do not know what we carry, we do not know our place in Christ Jesus.
The bible says in 1pet. 2:9 we are the chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
We are who we are in Christ Jesus and He has sent us not to be ordinary fellows but mighty warriors in Him…while others are afraid of goliath and hiding behind the caves anytime goliath rants and bully the house of Israel, David would not join them but rather stood his ground and confront goliath for he knows that he has been sent
I want you to know that you are sent, as a child of God, you are not here by mistake, you are the solution others are looking for, you are the deliverer your home needed, you are the solution to the sickness in your body, you are the peace that will flow like a river in your home, you are the blessings that will become a transgenerational wealth of your family, you are the healer of the brokenhearted, you are the one to give beauty in replacement of ashes, the giver of oil of joy in replacement of mourning
You are more than who you think you are…Gideon thought he is just another israelite, that’s why he was asking the angel “O my Lord, how can I save Israel” and he began to give excuses that seemed genuine but the angel counter his excuse by telling him that he will defeat the Midianites not as an army but as one man.
You have been sent to bring people back to Christ, to become the one who will give counsel to home that are troubled, to children who do not know their right from left, to those who have become a failure in their endeavors,
You cannot be on the same level with those who does not know Jesus, with those who are living behind the caves in fear, to those who are confused, no, you cannot be like them, you are the sent one
GO! In this might of yours, bring victory to your family, to your neighborhood, to your relatives, to your friends, to those who have missed it, to the hopeless and helpless, to the disappointed and the like.
We should stop chickening out and take the baton because the stakes are high. There is victory awaiting us on the other side if we yield to the call.
Prayer:
I receive the courage and boldness needed, I receive the courage needed like Joshua in Joshua 1:9.
