What is faith? The book of Hebrews 11:1 defines what faith is to us. It says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen, for by it the elders obtained a good testimony.”

And when faith is beyond measure, that means it cannot be quantified. It is extreme. It is to a very great degree or extent. It is immeasurable or exceedingly, something in abundance. Such was the case study of the man called Abraham, whose faith was beyond measure. He left his family to go to a place where he did not know.

Such was the case study of Saul that became Paul, whose faith was beyond measure because of how far he was willing to go after his encounter with Jesus. Such was the case study of Manoah, who believed what the angel said regarding his son, Samson. And lastly, to mention a few, the case study of Mary, who had faith in the word that was spoken to her regarding baby Jesus.

All these ones mentioned were able to make use of their faith and not just on the basic levels but beyond measures, because they believed the impossibilities for possibilities. They believed the unknown for the known. They believed the things that are not seen as if they are (Romans 4:17). They lived in the existence of what was not existing. Amen.

And as we know that there are levels and heights everyone is destined to attain, however, the level of our faith to reach our goals, to see destiny become fulfilled must go beyond measures because basic level faith cannot be sufficient to move God for fulfillment of promises.

Some have faith, but their faith can only bring them to the satisfaction of seeing another day. Some have faith, but their faith can only secure opportunities to them because of the connecting assistance they have. Some people’s faith is in man, believing in the word of man or the surroundings of men.

I saw a young dog on social media, barking his throat out against this gigantic bull dog because it was with his owner, and that bull dog was looking at it like “if I get you.” And eventually, for some reason, the owner dropped this little dog and went inside to grab something, and guess what? The little dog was quiet and terrified with this giant dog throughout the period its owner wasn’t there. And as soon as the owner returned and picked it up again, he started barking again. Why? Because of the faith it had in its owner. Its faith was beyond measure when it knew its owner was there.

As children of God, the expectation for us is to have faith in God beyond measure if we truly want to see the moves of God beyond the ordinary in our lives. If we want to see His promises fulfilled in us, the case study of Mary is the type that we cannot ignore when talking about faith beyond measures.

How can someone who does not know a man eventually believe in the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit after asking the angel how these things can be, if not because of her faith that has gone beyond measures?

How can someone who does not know how to fight eventually develop the courage to stand before the Goliath of the Philistines and slay him if not because of his faith that has grown beyond measures?  The household of Israel had faith no doubt but was within measures, hence the reason their faith was silenced in the presence of goliath.

For this reason you must not be limited by the circumstance of what surrounds or confronts you. For these three focuses are needed when you are applying your faith for a successful turnaround:

Faith in God 

Faith in yourself 

Faith in the mission

If you can believe in God beyond measure, believe in yourself as the vessel God will use to accomplish His mandate beyond measure, and also believe in the mission you embark on beyond measure, I can assure you that a crown awaits you, celebration awaits you, victory will be sure, and destiny will be fulfilled.

For Jesus said in John 20:29 “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”

That said, blessed are you when you align your faith with God’s word. Blessed are you when you believe that the promises of God over your life will become fulfilled. Blessed are you when you focus on the accomplishment of God’s promise even tho it is yet revealed.

Faith beyond measure is what you need so that you will not make rash decisions because of lack of patience. Faith beyond measure is needed to patiently wait on the Lord till the last millisecond, for God’s promises may not be fulfilled in the storm, not even when the earth quakes. It may not be when the fire is burning, but faith beyond measure is needed so as to still wait on the Lord until you see the promises of the Lord become fulfilled in your life.

Those who have faith beyond measure are those who know that with God, nothing will be impossible. Those with faith beyond measure are the ones who will not hesitate to make use of their 300s instead of their 30,000s to fight their adversaries in the name of Jesus.

Those who have faith beyond measure are those who know that even though God slays them, they will still maintain their ways before God. Children of God must come out of the state of doubt and disbelief, for your Maker is the owner of cattle on a thousand hills, and the beasts of the forest are the Lord’s. For God is the owner of the breath you breathe, and no one and no sickness can take you away from Him.

Level up your faith today, somebody. Boost up your faith, for the Lord God we rely and depend on is much more than able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, and to Him be glory forever (Ephesians 3:20).

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had faith beyond measure in their God, and they would not bow down to the idol of Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel’s faith was measured by the restriction of prayer to his God, but he would not pay attention to the brouhaha of his adversaries.

It is going to be a shameful thing for the devil to weigh your stance in Christ Jesus and see that you do not even have faith that moves an ant, let alone mountains. So level up, big up, and enough of people, challenges, and the issues of life measuring up your faith in Christ Jesus.

For God is the Lord over all, and all things are possible with God.
